OVERVIEW

Since 1972 the residents of Nagano area in Nishi Arie town run this festival that attracts many visitors. In the park above the waterfall the townspeople enjoy ground golf competitions, music and dance performances on stage and a lottery. Many visitors can enjoy the refreshing taste of somen nagashi, where somen noodles flow in moving water collected inside a bamboo stock and have to be fished out with chopsticks in order to be eaten.
