In Minamishimabara there are 3 beautiful bathing beaches with clear water and fine yellow sand: Kazusa Maehama Beach, Kazusa Nodahama Beach and Kuchinotsu Shirahama Beach. Every summer an official ceremony opens up the bathing season, wishing the bathers safety in the ocean and lots of fun on the beach.
