OVERVIEW
The Kujukushima Islands (99 Islands) are part of the Saikai National Park. This stunning example of Japanese natural coastal beauty was used in a scene in the movie "The Last Samurai".
At the Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort, you can take a cruise on one of the resort's incredible excursion boats.
"Mirai" is said to have been created with the image of a pirate's hat in mind and has plenty of large windows to enjoy the view of the Kujukushima Islands.
"Pearl Queen" is a magnificent white hulled ship with a calming wooden interior - making for a beautiful contrast against the blue waters and green islands.
Both ships are equipped with elevators, making them barrier free and wheelchair friendly.
There is also a 60min yacht sailing experience available. Sail through the 99 Islands on a yacht with an experienced captain who will even let you steer and assist with the sails!
Depending on the season, sunset cruises on board one of these yachts or 100min cruises are also available.
Other experiences available include sea kayaking, uninhabited islands and fish feeding cruise and a relaxing eco tour cruise.
